Mum ‘killed her eight-month-old baby in horrific Satanic ritual’ as police discover chilling evidence of ceremony
The infant’s mutilated corpse was discovered inside a home in central Mexico, and authorities found the mutilated body in the same building
By Dave Burke 9 FEB 2018
A mum has been arrested on suspicion of killing her eight-month-old baby in an horrific Satanic ritual.
Chilling footage shows the silhouette of a baby painted in black in the lounge of a home in central Mexico.
Authorities in the city of Chimalhuacan discovered the infant’s mutilated corpse in the same building.
In the same room police found ritual materials including candles, a human skull, devil figurines and oils. It was not clear whether the skull was real.
The mum, named in Mexico as Leticia N, reportedly named her child Belcebu – a variant of Beelzebub, which is sometimes another name for the devil….
But during a search of the house officers found blood stains and then the baby’s mutilated corpse.
A video that was shared on social networks shows the suspected scene of the alleged fatal ritual….
Her boyfriend, believed to have helped her during the ritual, was not found in the house and is being hunted by authorities.
Leticia was arrested and charged with homicide. She is being held in custody.
Australian circus school tied to sex abuse and ‘blood rituals,’ police say
by Kyle Swenson February 12
….Australian law enforcement now alleges the circus school was not a venue for big top entertainment but a horror show.
Last Monday, investigators arrested seven individuals — two men and five women — affiliated with the school for allegedly sexually abusing three young boys between 2014 and 2016, according to a news release from the New South Wales Police Force.
Altogether the accused face 127 criminal counts, including rape, kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault of a child and making child abuse material. Citing police documents, the Australian newspaper reported the young victims were used in “blood rituals” on at least one occasion. Law enforcement has not detailed how the victims knew the defendants. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported the three boys were not students at the school….
Citing court documents, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported last week at least one of the assaults occurred on April 25, 2016 — Anzac Day, an Australian holiday honoring military veterans. According to the network, Therese Cook and Yyani Cook-Williams allegedly raped two boys that day. The victims were 4 and 7. Cook-Williams also allegedly forced the two boys to have sex together on the same occasion.
Paul Cook stands accused of filming the aggravated sexual assaults. Meredith is accused of raping one of the victims seven times.
ABC also reported police say the victims were subjected to a “blood ritual” where they were forced to drink their own blood….
Rob Porter, White House Aide, Resigns After Accusations of Abuse
By MAGGIE HABERMAN and KATIE ROGERS FEB. 7, 2018
WASHINGTON — As the White House staff secretary, Rob Porter is not a public figure, but he is responsible for paper flow to the president, a job of crucial importance in the Trump administration. He frequently travels with President Trump on Air Force One, and he helped write Mr. Trump’s first State of the Union address last month.
But despite initial support from John F. Kelly, the White House chief of staff, and other West Wing staff aides, Mr. Porter announced his resignation on Wednesday, a day after his two former wives accused him in interviews of physical abuse when they were married to him.
His troubles were not a complete secret at the White House: Two people close to the White House said that the allegations against him made by his former wives, Colbie Holderness and Jennifer Willoughby, had contributed to a delay in granting him a permanent security clearance.
In a statement, Mr. Porter said that “these allegations are simply false,” even as details of the alleged abuse and photographs of one of his former wives with a black eye that she said he had given her were widely circulated…..
Ms. Holderness, Mr. Porter’s first wife, described their relationship as “verbally, emotionally and physically abusive” in an interview with The Daily Mail. In photographs she gave to The Intercept, Ms. Holderness has a blackened right eye and a swollen cheekbone.
In his statement, Mr. Porter said the pictures of Ms. Holderness were misleading….
EXCLUSIVE: ‘He pulled me, naked and dripping from the shower to yell at me.’ Ex-wife of Trump aide Rob Porter who’s dating Hope Hicks, tells how he called her a ‘f***ing b***h’ on their honeymoon and she filed a protective order against him
Jennifer Willoughby, the second wife of President Trump’s staff secretary Rob Porter has spoken on the record to DailyMail.com about her abusive marriage
Porter, 40, is considered one of the most important players in the Oval Office
Last week, DailyMail.com revealed that Porter and Hope Hicks are dating, and were seen kissing in a cab on the way back to her apartment
He has never been given security clearance by the FBI because of his dark past, sources tell DailyMail.com
Willoughby says she was ‘walking on eggshells’ during their marriage due to his explosive anger
On June 19, 2010, she filed a protective order against Porter because he violated their separation agreement and refused to leave their apartment
According to a complaint filed with the police, he punched the glass on the door to their home, cutting his hand in the process
His first wife Colbie Holderness told DailyMail.com: ‘He was verbally, emotionally and physically abusive and that is why I left’
But Willoughby said she never saw Porter take his anger out on other people – ‘not even road rage’ – but that is was all behind closed doors

Former Wives of Top White House Aide Rob Porter Both Told FBI He Abused Them
Ryan Grim, Alleen Brown February 7 2018
February 7 2018
As the FBI conducted a background check on an incoming senior White House official last year, the bureau learned of the man’s history of domestic abuse. Rob Porter, a top aide to President Donald Trump, physically assaulted both of his previous wives, according to the two women. Porter’s first wife said she was physically abused for years, providing a photograph she took of herself after she said Porter hit her while on vacation in Florence, Italy — a photo she also shared with the FBI.
During the background interviews for Porter’s security clearance related to his senior White House role, FBI agents interviewed the two women. The former wives told the FBI that Porter was abusive during their marriages, according to interviews with the women. For Porter, the FBI interviews marked a collision of his professional ascendancy and his sometimes violent private life.
Colbie Holderness, Porter’s first wife, provided her correspondence with the FBI to The Intercept. (The FBI did not respond to a request for comment, and the agent involved in the exchange declined to speak about the case.) In an interview, she said the pattern of violence in her marriage to Porter began on their honeymoon in the Canary Islands in 2003 and continued from there. Photo was taken shortly after the alleged incident, in the hotel room in Florence.
“He only punched me once, in the eye,” Holderness said. It was during a vacation in Florence in 2005. She said, “He threw me down on the bed and punched me in the face. I think he was shocked that he had lost control to that extent.”….
“Up until then, he had always done it in a way that didn’t leave marks,” Holderness said. “I don’t know if that was conscious or not. He would get angry and throw me down on a soft surface — to his credit, it was always a soft surface like a couch or a bed — and he would lay on top of me shaking me, or rubbing an elbow or a knee into me. He graduated to choking me, not ever hard enough to make me pass out, or frankly to leave marks, but it was frightening and dehumanizing.”
“He was always a hair-trigger away.”….

CULT NUNS Nuns ‘forced girl into satanic sex ritual where devil attacked her and buried her alive overnight in a drain’ at Smyllum Park orphanage
The traumatised former orphanage resident known only as ‘Janie’ told a child abuse inquiry a man referred to as the ‘devil’ assaulted her while she lay on a slab surrounded by candles
By Paul Thornton, Home Affairs Editor
6th December 2017
She said before the alleged attack, she and other girls were taken from their dorms at night to a nearby field where Catholic sisters from the “cult-like” home danced in a circle around a tree.
The inquiry heard they were later taken to the back of a candlelit chapel and went downstairs.
Janie, of primary school age at the time, said: “There was a square slab and everyone sat round.
“I was given a lollipop and told that the devil was coming out.”
She said she was assaulted then taken back outside and “buried alive” in a drain all night. After she was let out the next morning, she said she was put in a “blood bath” — believed to be filled with coloured dye — as part of a terrifying ritual. The witness also told the Edinburgh probe a nun forced her to perform a sex act on a woman at a house near the Lanark orphanage.
She also said she was tied to her bed and beaten and warned not to speak about her ordeal.
And she claimed she was regularly gagged and had her hair cut off.
She only told police about what she had endured years later.
Janie said: “It was like a cult. We deserve justice. People who abused me should be taken to court and jailed….

Weinstein’s Complicity Machine The producer Harvey Weinstein relied on powerful
relationships across industries to provide him with cover
as accusations of sexual misconduct piled up for decades. By MEGAN TWOHEY, JODI KANTOR, SUSAN DOMINUS, JIM RUTENBERG and STEVE EDER DEC. 5, 2017Harvey Weinstein built his complicity machine out of the witting, the unwitting and those in between. He commanded enablers, silencers and spies, warning others who discovered his secrets to say nothing. He courted those who could provide the money or prestige to enhance his reputation as well as his power to intimidate.
In the weeks and months before allegations of his methodical abuse of women were exposed in October, Mr. Weinstein, the Hollywood producer, pulled on all the levers of his carefully constructed apparatus. He gathered ammunition, sometimes helped by the editor of The National Enquirer, who had dispatched reporters to find information that could undermine accusers. He turned to old allies, asking a partner in Creative Artists Agency, one of Hollywood’s premier talent shops, to broker a meeting with a C.A.A. client, Ronan Farrow, who was reporting on Mr. Weinstein.
He tried to dispense favors: While seeking to stop the actress Rose McGowan from writing in a memoir that he had sexually assaulted her, he tried to arrange a $50,000 payment to her former manager and throw new business to a literary agent advising Ms. McGowan. The agent, Lacy Lynch, replied to him in an email: “No one understands smart, intellectual and commercial like HW.”Mr. Weinstein’s final, failed round of manipulations shows how he operated for more than three decades: by trying to turn others into instruments or shields for his behavior, according to nearly 200 interviews, internal company records and previously undisclosed emails. Some aided his actions without realizing what he was doing. Many knew something or detected hints, though few understood the scale of his sexual misconduct. Almost everyone had incentives to look the other way or reasons to stay silent. Now, even as the tally of Mr. Weinstein’s alleged misdeeds is still emerging, so is a debate about collective failure and the apportioning of blame.Executives at Mr. Weinstein’s film companies who learned of allegations rarely took a stand, cowed by their volatile boss or worried about their careers. His brother and partner, Bob, participated in payoffs to women as far back as 1990….
Former UK prime minister Edward Heath child sex and ritual abuse allegations, Roman Polanski under investigation over new rape allegations

Late UK prime minister would have faced child sex abuse questioning
By Sarah Ward, SWNS
October 5, 2017
Former UK prime minister Sir Edward Heath would have been quizzed by police over child sex allegations including the rape of an 11-year-old “rent boy,” an investigation revealed Thursday.
Wiltshire Police said the former MP – who allegedly took part in Satanic sex – would have been questioned under caution over five alleged attacks on children and two on adults.
The disturbing allegations – described as “chance” or “paid for sexual encounters” – span the 60s, 70s and 90s and took place in London, Kent, Sussex, Guernsey and Jersey.
Two of the alleged assaults took place in Wiltshire – where Heath had a mansion – including a “chance” attack on a 12, 13 or 14-year-old boy in private gardens.
In the most disturbing allegation, Heath allegedly raped an 11-year-old boy he paid to abuse in a home in London in 1961, while he was a cabinet member.
Some of the alleged assaults took place in public places or buildings – and one alleged attack on a boy took place in the company of another man. Another alleged attack on a 15-year-old boy in a public building in Guernsey took place while he was the leader of the Conservatives.
During the course of the investigation, six victims told police Heath was involved in Satanic or ritual abuse.
Investigators defined it as “offenses committed using symbols, ceremonies or group activities that appeared to have a religious or supernatural meaning” – but said they found no evidence.
The seven total alleged attacks were reported to police between April 2015 and June 2016 – and were among 42 allegations of sex assaults made to police.
The findings were revealed Thursday by Wiltshire Police following a controversial two-year $1.9 million investigation….
Some 42 alleged victims reported abuse involving Heath – 26 named individuals, ten reports by a third party, three anonymous reports and three who later realized they were “genuinely mistaken.”
None of the seven allegations, which Heath would have been interviewed about, occurred while he was PM.
Among the 42 allegations was one from a rent boy working in a Salisbury brothel who claimed he was abused by the politician and three male sex workers.
Six victims claimed Heath was involved in Satanic or ritual abuse, but two died before Operation Conifer began.
“Following the investigation, no further corroborative evidence was found to support the disclosures that Heath was involved in ritual abuse,” the report said.
Allegations were also made that Heath was involved in murdering children aboard his yachts, but no evidence was discovered to suggest this happened, the report said.
Three victims made allegations of organized pedophile activity within military settings and two accused Heath of committing abuses in Wiltshire.
Police case papers from 1989 relating to a criminal investigation into two of the victims’ parents mentioned allegations made about Heath, the report said….
Sir Edward’s friends have previously accused police of a witch hunt.
They insisted he could not have carried such crimes because he could not drive, was under 24-hour police guard and was asexual.
But the report revealed he owned two cars, was not watched around the clock and did have sexual relationships….
They will now be passed to the Independent Inquiry Into Child Sexual Abuse.
Roman Polanski under investigation by Swiss police over new rape allegations
A woman named Renate Langer interviewed by police says the film-maker raped her in the town of Gstaad when she was 15, in 1972
Agence France-Presse in Geneva
Tuesday 3 October 2017
Swiss police are investigating new rape allegations against Roman Polanski made by a woman who said the film-maker assaulted her in the town of Gstaad in 1972.
St Gallen’s police communications chief, Hanspeter Krüsi, confirmed the details of the allegations, first reported by the New York Times.
Krüsi told AFP that police interviewed Renate Langer on 26 September concerning accusations that Polanski raped her in Gstaad when she was 15.
Polanski in 1977 pleaded guilty in the United States to having unlawful sex with Samantha Geimer – aged 13 at the time – but fled the country before he could be sentenced. He remains a fugitive from the US justice system.
Langer is a 61-year-old former actress who was born in Munich, according to multiple media reports.
She is the fourth woman to publicly accuse Polanski of sexual assault.
In August, a woman identified only as Robin told a news conference in Los Angeles she was “sexually victimised” by the French-Polish film director when she was 16, in 1973….

….The children, who had their hair bleached blonde and shaped into the same bob, were allegedly beaten, starved and injected with LSD by Hamilton-Byrne (pictured right) and other cult leaders
In total the cult’s assets are said to be worth up to $10 million, with properties in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne and the United States.
Ms Creese, who has previously shined light on the abuse and use of drugs inside the cult, told The Age: ‘I want to dethrone her, and take away her money.’….
Hamilton-Byrne (pictured), one of very few female cult leaders, was under the influence of LSD when she began collecting children in Lake Eildon in central Victoria in the 1970s and 1980s in preparation for what she believed was an apocalyptic war….
Police dramatically rescued the traumatised children from the sect property in 1987 after three young women managed to escape and alert police, survivor Ben Shenton previously told The Today Show.
‘What Anne indoctrinated people with, she took them as vulnerable people and came up with a system which was very abusive. If they disagree they were bullied, intimidated, people were separated from their families,’ Mr Shenton said….
Verification of the accuracy of the book “Michelle Remembers“
by Michelle Smith and Lawrence Pazder, MD from the book “A NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER” pages xi – xiii”
“Dr. Pazder’s credentials are impressive. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Alberta in 1961; his diploma in tropical medicine from the University Liverpool in 1962; and in 1968, his specialist certificate in psychiatry and his diploma in psychological medicine from McGill University. In 1971, he was made a fellow of Canada’s Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a member of three Canadian professional associations and of the American Psychiatric Association as well. He practiced medicine in West Africa and has participated in medical task forces and health organizations. He has been chairman of the Mental Health Committee of the Health Planning Council for British Columbia. A member of the staff of two hospitals in Victoria, British Columbia -the Royal Jubilee and the Victoria General-he is in private practice with a group of five psychiatrists. His professional papers include a study of the long-term effects of stress upon concentration-camp victims.
Two experienced interviewers journeyed to Victoria and talked to Dr. Pazder’s colleagues, to the priests and the bishop who became involved in the case, to doctors who treated Michelle Smith when she was a child, to relatives and friends. From local newspaper, clergy, and police sources they learned that reports of Satanism in Victoria are not infrequent and that Satanism has apparently existed there for many years. Satanism in Western Canada flourished in many areas with activities far more ominous than some of the innocuous groups now found in parts of the United States who claim some connection with Satanism.
The source material was scrutinized. The many thousands of pages of transcript of the tape recordings that Dr. Pazder and Michelle Smith made of their psychiatric sessions were read and digested; they became the basis of this book. The tapes themselves were listened to in good measure, and the videotapes made of some of his sessions were viewed. Both the audio and video are powerfully convincing. It is nearly unthinkable that the protracted agony they record could have been fabricated.”

Ritual abuse exists all over the world. There have been reports, journal articles, web pages and criminal convictions of crimes against children and adults.
Ritual abuse has been defined as:
a brutal form of abuse of children, adolescents, and adults, consisting of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, and involving the use of rituals. Ritual does not necessarily mean satanic. However, most survivors state that they were ritually abused as part of satanic worship for the purpose of indoctrinating them into satanic beliefs and practices. Ritual abuse rarely consists of a single episode. It usually involves repeated abuse over an extended period of time. The physical abuse is severe, sometimes including torture and killing. The sexual abuse is usually painful, sadistic, and humiliating, intended as means of gaining dominance over the victim. The psychological abuse is devastating and involves the use of ritual/indoctrination, which includes mind control techniques and mind altering drugs, and ritual/intimidation which conveys to the victim a profound terror of the cult members and of the evil spirits they believe cult members can command. Both during and after the abuse, most victims are in a state of terror, mind control, and dissociation in which disclosure is exceedingly difficult.
WHAT IS RITUAL ABUSE? (BROAD DEFINITION) Ritual abuse is the abuse of a child, weaker adult, or animal in a ritual setting or manner. In a broad sense, many of our overtly or covertly socially sanctioned actions can be seen as ritual abuse, such as military basic training, hazing, racism, spanking children, and partner-battering. Some abuse is private…some public. Public ritual abuse may be either open or secret. WHAT IS RITUAL ABUSE? (NARROW DEFINITION) The term ritual abuse is generally used to mean prolonged, extreme, sadistic abuse, especially of children, within a group setting. The group’s ideology is used to justify the abuse, and abuse is used to teach the group’s ideology. The activities are kept secret from society at large, as they violate norms and laws.
Origins of the term
Pazder introduced the term “ritualized abuse” in 1980, describing the experiences of an adult survivor that was disclosing satanic abuse memories. He defined the phenomenon as “repeated physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual assaults combined with a systematic use of symbols, ceremonies, and machinations designed and orchestrated to attain malevolent effects.” Later definitions came mostly from professionals addressing ritual abuse in child care settings. Finkelhor, Williams, Burns, and Kalinowski elaborated on Pazder’s definition, defining ritual abuse as “abuse that occurs in a context linked to some symbols or group activity that have a religious, magical or supernatural connotation, and where the invocation of these symbols or activities are repeated over time and used to frighten and intimidate the children.” Kelley referred to ritual abuse as the “repetitive and systematic sexual, physical, and psychological abuse of children by adults as part of cult or satanic worship”.
There is a great deal of evidence supporting the existence of ritual abuse crimes as a worldwide phenomenon. Bottoms, Shaver and Goodman found in their 1993 study evaluating ritual abuse claims that in 2,292 alleged ritual abuse cases, 15% of the perpetrators in adult cases and 30% of the perpetrators in child cases confessed to the abuse. “In a survey of 2,709 members of the American Psychological Association, it was found that 30 percent of these professionals had seen cases of ritual or religion-related abuse (Bottoms, Shaver & Goodman, 1991). Of those psychologists who have seen cases of ritual abuse, 93 percent believed that the reported harm took place and 93 percent believed that the alleged ritualism occurred….The similar research of Nancy Perry (1992) which further supports (the previous findings)…Perry also conducted a national survey of therapists who work with clients with dissociative disorders and she found that 88 percent of the 1,185 respondents indicated ”belief in ritual abuse, involving mind control and programming.”
An online survey of over one thousand people answered questions about ritual abuse and extreme abuse crimes. In a summary of the survey, it was found that ritual abuse/mind control is a global phenomenon. Fifty-five percent stated they were abuse in a Satanic cult. Seventy-seven percent of the adult survivors that responded “had been threatened with death if they ever talked about the abuse.” Also, “257 respondents reported that secret mind control experiments were used on them as children.” Eighty-two percent reported being sexually abused by multiple perpetrators.
Anne Johnson Davis in her book Hell Minus One reported that her parents confessed to her abuse in writing and verbally to clergymen, and to the detectives from the Utah Attorney General’s Office. Her suppressed memories started when she was in her mid-30s, which were fully substantiated by her mother and stepfather….
A study which identified 270 cases of sexual abuse in day care settings found that allegations of ritual abuse occurred in thirteen percent of the cases. Additional evidence of ritual abuse in day care and child abuse cases has been found in news reports, journal articles and legal transcripts.
Ritual abuse occurrences have also been found in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. A ritual abuse case in the United States in 2006 had a confession and convictions. The case included up to 25 children.

Investigators found toys, used children’s underwear and kids’ shoes at the home where three elderly brothers are accused of fostering their sick obsession with young girls.
Prosecutors say the Seattle home of Charles Emery, 82; Thomas Emery, 80, and Edwin Emery, 78, held handwritten notes about the “kidnapping, torturing, raping and murdering of young girls.”
Investigators say that the men accumulated a trove of child pornography until their niece saw pictures of sexual abuse when cleaning the home earlier this month and called 911…..
Beyond the horrific images, court documents say that the suspects “have shared the majority of their lives sexually abusing children to whom they had access” and wrote graphic descriptions of abusing children.
None of the brothers have children, though evidence provided by their niece included the used underwear, dozens of children’s penny loafers, small vodka bottles, notes about “ritualistic and satanic sacrifices of minor female children” as well as local and national news clips about murdered, missing and abused children….
The youngest brother was also investigated but not prosecuted for child pornography in 2013 after images were found on his computer when he brought it in for repairs, a probe during which he allegedly admitted to abusing a sister and her daughter.

A flier of a missing 10-year-old girl found in the home of three elderly brothers with notes of satanic rituals has rekindled hopes of a possible cold case break.
Charles Emery, 82, Thomas Emery, 80, and Edwin Emery, 78, were arrested earlier this week on child pornography and sexual abuse charges, with prosecutors saying their home was “littered floor to ceiling” with sick images, toys and children’s shoes.
The discoveries came as a relative was cleaning out their home in Seattle, though investigators are now also looking at the home one of the brothers owned in suburban Shelton….
Authorities are now looking into any potential link the Emery brothers may have to Baum’s fate, with Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott telling KIRO that a flier about the missing girl was found in the Shelton home.
That discovery comes as investigators looking into both the Shelton and Seattle homes have reportedly found notes about the “ritualistic and Satanic sacrifices of minor female children.”…
That house is 30 minutes from where Lindsey Baum, then 10 years old, vanished in June 2009.

Quotes on the County Walk Frank Fuster Case (sources below):
“The Fuster case originated with a child spontaneously talking about being abused. That clear statement caused two families to withdraw their children from Fuster’s home daycare, which they did without informing anyone else. Months later, a spontaneous statement from a different child, started an investigation by law enforcement. An articulate 5-year-old boy was soon located, who gave several detailed statements that were later corroborated in various ways.”
“When the charges emerged in the home daycare case, Frank Fuster was on parole for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old two years earlier….the fact is that Fuster admitted in his parole violation hearing on the 1984 charges that, in the course of driving the girl home, he made her sit on his lap and he touched “her chest area” and “her vagina area.”
“Beck makes a point of saying that, despite claims about games involving feces, the police were “unable to find” any “feces smeared across the walls of the Fuster home” (p. 141). But he does not inform his readers that the police found a photo of precisely that: Frank’s son in a room smeared with feces on the floor and wall.”
“Beck acknowledges Frank Fuster’s 1982 conviction for lewd and lascivious assault on a minor, but he quickly adds, without any apparent skepticism, that “Frank had always maintained his innocence.” (p. 142). But Beck does not tell his readers that Fuster actually admitted the actions charged in that case, and then tried to minimize them, while testifying at his Parole Violation Hearing three years later (Cheit, p. 337).”
“But Frank Fuster was not living the American dream. He was on probation for a 1982 child molestation conviction for a lewd and lascivious assault on an nine-year-old girl. Fuster also served four years in New York for manslaughter, after shooting a man in after a traffic accident and then threatening an off-duty policeman with his loaded rifle. His “new wife” was also his third wife, a girl barely sixteen years old whose status as an immigrant was unsure…And he gained custody of his son after threatening his ex-wife’s life if she contested the matter.”
“The things that Martha Fuster is willing to admit in this deposition are haunting, partly for the similarities to Ileana’s situation. Frank met Martha when she was sixteen; she lost her virginity and felt forced to marry Frank. Ileana confessed something similar to Shirley Blando and others at the prison, months before the psychologists were hired by her lawyer. And she used the word rape. (Blando deposition, State v. Fuster, August 1, 1985; tr. 78). Martha Fuster was kicked out of her house after Frank beat up her father (Martha Gonzalez Fuster Deposition tr., 13). Ileana’s mother remarried – and her new husband, Isreal Mendosa, called the police when Frank Fuster pulled a gun on him during an argument.”
“Also during this time, the police were called when Frank Fuster, in the heat of an argument, pulled a gun on Ileana’s step-father. In the year before the Country Walk case broke, Frank Fuster hit Ileana in the face repeatedly in front of other people at a Halloween party after she mentioned that he owned a gun.”
“In his own testimony in the Country Walk trial, Frank Fuster told so many lies that his lawyer was forced to admit as much to the jury in closing arguments. His most outrageous lie was one he maintained throughout the case: that he did not run a day care operation and that there was no Country Walk babysitting service. He also said “there were only a few children.”
Jane Doe Who Accused Trump of Raping Her When She Was 13 Drops Her Suit
By Dave Quinn and Diane Herbst November 5, 2016
The anonymous California woman who accused Donald Trump in a federal lawsuit of raping her in the ’90s when she was 13 has voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit, her attorney said late Friday…. Doe had accused the Republican presidential nominee of raping her during the summer of 1994, allegedly in the home of Jeffrey Epstein — a businessman and convicted sex offender also named in the lawsuit. “Jane Doe instructed us to dismiss her lawsuit against Trump and Epstein today,” Bloom wrote….
NIGHTMARE IN COUNTRY WALK
BY GLENN COLLINS December 14, 1986
UNSPEAKABLE ACTS By Jan Hollingsworth. Illustrated. 592 pp. New York: Congdon & Weed. $18.95.
OF Susan, a parent who suspects that her child has been sexually abused, ”Unspeakable Acts” tells us: ”Susan said she couldn’t rest until she knew the truth. She wouldn’t rest afterward, either.” Readers of Jan Hollingsworth’s account of a widely publicized Florida child-abuse case may feel the same. In its lurid details, its frustrating complexity and in the agony of the children and families who were victimized, this case would seem to be the paradigm of incidents in Minnesota, California and elsewhere that have surfaced in recent years. A startling difference, though, is the outcome: the molester was convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
Indeed, after reading Ms. Hollingsworth’s description of the trial, it seems almost a miracle that, in October 1985, the owner of the Country Walk Babysitting Service, one Frank Fuster, was found guilty of 14 counts of abuse. ”It was an almost perfect crime,” Ms. Hollingsworth comments, and this could be said of child sexual abuse in general, since it is usually committed in the absence of witnesses or corroboration other than the testimony of the small victims.
Mr. Fuster was convicted of molesting the children entrusted to his wife’s care in their home in the middle-class Dade County suburb of Country Walk, a planned development that was intended to be an idyllic refuge from the anxieties of urban Miami.
Of course, given the media coverage, the triumph of the Fuster prosecution was a consuming matter for Dade County residents. But the importance of the case transcends Floridians’ concerns. This book is almost a primer for parents, criminal justice personnel and social service workers in the do’s and don’ts of attempting to prevent, and make prosecutable, ”the most unprosecutable crime in the nation,” as the book describes it.
….Her presentation of the case includes trial testimony and the verbatim reports of psychiatrists and polygraph operators, and it may be too thorough for some readers’ taste. But it has a mesmerizing quality that makes this book as compelling as it is heartrending.
Readers are likely to recoil from accounts of Mr. Fuster’s actions. It is sickening stuff. But such details account for both the public attention accorded the case and the outrage that animated parents and prosecutors alike – indignation that led to Mr. Fuster’s life sentence. Mr. Fuster’s unspeakable acts were more than just the repeated sexual abuse of children; the victims also testified that he led them in satanic rituals in which both crucifixes and excrement played a part. Some of the children’s most disturbing testimony involved descriptions of the ways in which he terrorized them: one method was to force them to watch him mutilate pet birds, an object lesson to tots who might disclose the abuse. THE author cites the specifics of these revolting rituals to illustrate disturbing similarities in some of the multiple-victim sexual-abuse cases that have recently been discovered in other states. She suggests that such acts are fostered by a nationwide network of pedophiles who swap information and videotapes in a mega-dollar child-pornography business the F.B.I. would do well to target….
Mythical Numbers and Satanic Ritual Abuse
Sep 10, 2014 Ross Cheit Professor at Brown University
The Fuster case originated with a child spontaneously talking about being abused. That clear statement caused two families to withdraw their children from Fuster’s home daycare, which they did without informing anyone else. Months later, a spontaneous statement from a different child, started an investigation by law enforcement. An articulate 5-year-old boy was soon located, who gave several detailed statements that were later corroborated in various ways. The case was tagged by some as “satanic ritual abuse” because children made statements about Fuster wearing masks, killing a bird and playing with feces. Those allegations quietly disappeared from the witch-hunt narrative when adult testimony and photographic evidence corroborated these statements. But the satanic tag lived on. The leading academic psychologists on child suggestibility still claim that the case was filled with “fantastic” elements like “riding a shark.” But the only child who said anything close to that was describing a Jacques Cousteau program. Hardly a matter of satanic ritual abuse.
When the charges emerged in the home daycare case, Frank Fuster was on parole for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old two years earlier. The jury that convicted Fuster in 1985 was unaware of this prior conviction. But others who have embraced Frank Fuster as innocent know about it and claim that lighting struck twice — Fuster was innocent the first time, too. But the fact is that Fuster admitted in his parole violation hearing on the 1984 charges that, in the course of driving the girl home, he made her sit on his lap and he touched “her chest area” and “her vagina area.”….
What Beck Left Out
August 8, 2015
The witch-hunt narrative, as described in my book, has deep roots in American culture. It ranges from Salem Massachusetts to the McCarthy hearings of the 1950s. The power of those cautionary tales, however, causes many people to drop their skeptical guard when told that something is a modern day witch-hunt. So it is with the conventional wisdom about the highly publicized day-care sexual abuse cases from the 1980s.
Richard Beck, a comparative literature major from Harvard who works at a literary magazine, is the latest one spreading the witch-hunt narrative about those cases. His book, We Believe the Children, based largely on secondary sources, reaches the same conclusions that Debbie Nathan and defense lawyer Michael Snedeker offered twenty years ago. In both instances, the authors repeatedly omitted significant evidence that contradicts the witch-hunt narrative. Consider some examples of what Beck left out:….
Beck makes a point of saying that, despite claims about games involving feces, the police were “unable to find” any “feces smeared across the walls of the Fuster home” (p. 141). But he does not inform his readers that the police found a photo of precisely that: Frank’s son in a room smeared with feces on the floor and wall. Beck also omits any mention that Debbie Nathan, his primary source for the book, once acknowledged that it “appears that [Frank Fuster] perpetrated sadomasochistic assaults against [Ileana, his wife] (who was legally a minor) and possibly against the younger children, including abuse involving urine and excrement” (Cheit, p. 327, fn. 125). When characterizing the case as “satanic ritual abuse,” Beck does not acknowledge that evidence, but he mentions that there were allegations involving masks (pp. xiii). But Beck omits the fact that masks were found in Fuster’s house and that adults testified in the case about being scared by Frank Fuster using them (Cheit, pp. 297-98, 331).
Beck repeats the claim that Ileana Fuster was held naked in an isolation cell in the Country Walk case (p. 143). But he does not acknowledge that Ileana Fuster made no such claim in the actual motion she brought concerning her treatment in prison, while being held. In that motion, alleging “cruel and unusual punishment,” Ileana Fuster complained of things like having “only limited access to shower facilities” and “only limited access to hot water for coffee.” There was nothing in her motion about being held nude (Cheit, p. 333). Beck also neglects to inform his readers that Ileana Fuster denied that she had been held naked when asked about it years later, by defense lawyer Arthur Cohen, in an interview that Beck cites elsewhere with approval (Cheit, p. 335).
Beck acknowledges Frank Fuster’s 1982 conviction for lewd and lascivious assault on a minor, but he quickly adds, without any apparent skepticism, that “Frank had always maintained his innocence.” (p. 142). But Beck does not tell his readers that Fuster actually admitted the actions charged in that case, and then tried to minimize them, while testifying at his Parole Violation Hearing three years later (Cheit, p. 337). Here is how Fuster explained what he did to a 9-year-old while driving her home one night:
This is how I touch her chest area. I don’t see any sexual movement here. I also touch her in the vaginal area. That’s it. That’s the whole case.
Nor does Beck acknowledge Frank Fuster’s long record of documented lies about his manslaughter conviction. As I said in The Witch-Hunt Narrative: “one wonders how anyone could cite his denials with utter credulity and without any acknowledgment of the considerable evidence to the contrary” (Cheit, p. 338).
Beck also impugns the most important child in the Fuster case without acknowledging that he never examined the first interview with that child, an interview that played a major role in the case. Psychology professor James Wood recently admitted that he and Debbie Nathan, his co-author for a forthcoming commentary on my book, never examined this interview, which Wood described as “key for understanding the case” (Wood, personal communication; July 18, 2015)….
In many of the cases proclaimed to be witch hunts, looking closely at the record revealed substantial evidence of abuse and compelling reasons that jurors voted to convict. It’s true that I also found cases where people were charged who shouldn’t have been. Yet even in some of those cases, there was strong evidence of abuse. A crime was committed and a child was assaulted by someone who was never apprehended, but only the false accusation story lives on….
Debunking Frontline’s – Did Daddy Do It? “”Frank Fuster was living the American dream.” Or so claims Frontline
…for the 4/25/02 program, “Did Daddy Do It?” Fuster had “a new house in the suburbs, a successful landscaping business, and a new wife.” Then, according to the highly-acclaimed PBS program, Fuster “found himself” charged with sexually abusing children in their home day care. His subsequent conviction, considered ironclad by many, was the target of this hour-long program. But Frank Fuster was not living the American dream.
Frank Fuster gained custody of his son after threatening his ex-wife’s life if she contested the matter
Source: State v. Escalona [Fuster], Case No. 84-19728, Deposition of Martha Gonzales Fuster (August 8, 1985), tr. 58-60 (“he told me that he would kill me,” “if I ever took Noel away,” “he would kill me if I took Noel,” “afraid of him.”)
The things that Martha Fuster is willing to admit in this deposition are haunting, partly for the similarities to Ileana’s situation. Ileana’s mother remarried – and her new husband, Isreal Mendosa, called the police when Frank Fuster pulled a gun on him during an argument.
Further contradicting the “American Dream” image painted by Frontline, Fuster has acknowledged (and Jan Hollingsworth reported) that he was the subject of a criminal complaint for rape 1980.
Fuster was also the victim of a close-range gunshot to the face in 1980. The authorities were told it was a robbery; but nothing was stolen and the act appeared to be personal. The authorities speculated that it was an act of revenge. Also during this time, the police were called when Frank Fuster, in the heat of an argument, pulled a gun on Ileana’s step-father. In the year before the Country Walk case broke, Frank Fuster hit Ileana in the face repeatedly in front of other people at a Halloween party after she mentioned that he owned a gun.
Having a gun was a violation of Frank Fuster’s parole conditions—for his 1982 conviction for lewd and lascivious assault on a nine-year-old girl….
Frank Fuster’s documented history of deception about this case
In his own testimony in the Country Walk trial, Frank Fuster told so many lies that his lawyer was forced to admit as much to the jury in closing arguments. His most outrageous lie was one he maintained throughout the case: that he did not run a day care operation and that there was no Country Walk babysitting service. He also said “there were only a few children.” Then in an impromptu press conference while the jury was out, Fuster argued “she babysat 50 kids and they only had seven here, how come”? (The answer, of course, is that many children were too young to testify, others did not want to, and other’s were not thought to have been abused by the Fusters.)
Fuster also lied to his lawyer. Exasperated, he told the judge that he was tired of “only getting abuse” from Fuster. (Magistrate’s Report, p. 25) Later, he used his lawyer’s conclusion that he was “an unmitigated liar” as one of his alleged grounds from appeal! (Magistrate’s Report, p. 113) Fuster eventually lied to the judge about why his own lawyer wanted out of the case. The judge called him on this lie….
Appco: Workers allegedly forced to ‘shove cigarettes up bottoms’ after missing sales targets
By the National Reporting Team’s Lorna Knowles and Elise Worthington
Young charity workers were forced to lick underwear, cross dress and take part in obscene cigarette rituals, according to lawyers suing the marketing giant Appco.
The shocking allegations are the latest to emerge as part of an $85 million class action against the Appco Group in the Federal Court of Australia.
The Appco Group is one of the world’s biggest fundraising agencies and rattles the tin on behalf of some of Australia’s best known charities, including Surf Life Saving Australia and The Starlight Foundation.
But its workers, sometimes known as “charity muggers” or “chuggers”, claim they were overworked, grossly underpaid and bullied.
Lawyer Rory Markham told the ABC more than 500 former workers had come forward since he filed the class action against the Appco Group last month.
Mr Markham said some alleged that they were forced to cross dress, take part in “cockfights” and lick underpants if they did not meet their daily sales targets.
Workers in Tasmania also allege they were forced to participate in an obscene ritual involving cigarettes….
