From the Author

My goal in writing this book is to expose the misuse of power that took place during the Cold War.  Thousands of innocent children who have grown into adults are silently suffering from the effects of the experiments that were done to them by their own government.  Many have been diagnosed incorrectly and institutionalized.

Others, like myself, were able to obtain competent medical help, and are struggling to heal from the physical and mental ravages upon our beings.  How can we envision the future without visiting the past?  Will we let this story lay in the shadows forever, or do we have the courage to address the wrongs and give survivors back their voices?  You be the judge. Carol Rutz

“A Nation Betrayed” documents Carol Rutz’s incredible journey from mind control victim to freedom.  Her personal experience provides clear evidence of deeply hidden agendas within a shadow government.

Using electroshock, drugs, hypnosis, sensory deprivation and insidious trauma, Carol believes that the CIA conducted Mind Control Experiments on children in the government’s attempt to create a Manchurian Candidate. Your tax dollars paid doctors working under government contract in the U.S. and Canada to participate in these and other experiments in ESP, Remote Viewing, Radiation and research with Chemical and Biological Warfare.

Survivorship Ritual Abuse Webinars – Inner Structures and Self Care

OUR NEXT WEBINAR
Saturday, June 25

12 noon Pacific Time
Trish Fotheringham
“Inner Structures – Settle In and Get Comfortable: Part 2.”

Trish was born into a female-only matriarchal healing cult and an ancient patriarchal family clan who were connected to a variety of organized crime groups, including a group of wealthy political elite and their child pornography rings and child sex slave trafficking network. This webinar will continue with the material Trish presented on March 26, but in greater depth. The focus will be on safely creating, adapting, and demolishing inner structures. There will be plenty of time for questions. If you did not attend the first webinar, we suggest that you listen to the transcript on the Survivorship website.

If you plan to attend this webinar, you may send
questions or suggestions to jeannie@survivorship.org
Trish will incorporate them into her webinar whenever possible.

Survivorship Ritual Abuse Webinars

You do not have to be a Survivorship member to attend a Webinar — we welcome all survivors, as well as partners, friends, therapists, clergy, and other supporters. And a Webinar is a very good introduction to Survivorship’s philosophy and resources.

She is a 50-year-old Canadian Survivor of extreme abuse and trauma that included MKUltra-style ritual abuse, torture, mind control, and experimentation.

Trish will share some of the ways she handled her many different implanted Inner structures and tell how she, as an adult, intentionally self-created more structures that served healing purposes. The Webinar will be designed for dialog and interaction rather than as a lecture.

FUTURE WEBINARS
Saturday, April 9
12 noon Pacific Time
Staci Sprout, LICSW, CSAT
“Authentic Sexuality after Extreme Sexual Abuse: Part II: Tools You Can Use.”

This Webinar follows up what was begun in the December Webinar. (If you were not there I recommend reviewing it on the Survivorship Website). We will take the concepts of sexual addiction/anorexia in the context of surviving extreme trauma to the next practical level: how to assess your current sexual health today, how to organize daily nurturing tasks to improve sexual self-esteem, what is the role of making love with yourself/masturbation, and what are your visions for a healthy tomorrow?

We will discuss sexuality in both general and specific terms.
Staci Sprout works as an individual group psychotherapist at Sexual Recovery Services in Washington state. (See www.sexualrecoveryservices.com for more information.). She is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT). She is also a survivor of extreme trauma and will share “what’s worked” along her personal journey of recovery as part of the presentation. Caution will be taken to promote safety by not using explicit language or stories, though content at times may be triggering for survivors.

Saturday, May 21
Note: This Webinar will be at 9 AM Pacific Time
Adah Sachs
“Attachment: How Did It Harm You, and How Can That Harm Be Healed?”

This Webinar will look at abuse and torture (at all ages) in the context of attachment theory. It will explain that the worst damage caused by abuse is not to the body, but to the victim’s attachment system; and that the damaged attachment system continues to cause destruction in the person’s life, sometimes forever. We’ll then look at healing the attachment system.

Adah Sachs is an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She is a visiting faculty and a training supervisor at the Bowlby Centre and at the Centre for Child Mental Health and a consultant psychotherapist at the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, London. She lectures and publishes widely on trauma and dissociation and maintains a small private practice. Her co-edited book, “Forensic Aspects of DID,” was published in 2008.

Day Breaks Over Dharamsala – A Memoir of Life Lost and Found

describes abuse

Day Breaks Over Dharamsala – A Memoir of Life Lost and Found by Janet Thomas
Day Breaks Over Dharamsala was a 20-year writing journey that started in 1990. A year later, I moved to an island to finish it. I had no idea that I had another twenty years to go.  To begin with, it was a book full of anguish, fear and loathing–for both self and other. It had no redeeming humor, no redemption, and no India. It chronicled a different trip, to California, down a highway of recrimination, shame and rage.  I had a lot of healing ahead of me.

book excerpt:
I’ve tried to heal from the electric shocks that could never happen but did; the sexual slavery as a child that only my body remembers; the experiments that happened to someone else. In my body; the days and nights in the dark that made indistinguishable my self from all that did not exist; the places where I became an animal, where being debased for the enjoyment of others was my charm and my glory. I heal from it all, even as I know it could never have happened to me. It is what I don’t know that has both saved me and condemned me. And it seems, at times, as though there is no difference.

I do bear one visible scar. It’s four inches long and reaches down the inside of my left forearm. On my left hand are five-year old fingers and a thumb that does not bend. There is not much feeling in this hand. It is a hand that is always cold, always numb, always looked after by my other hand–the right one, the one that writes, that does everything. “The scar is real,” it writes. It is a huge scar. It is connected to medical experiments and electric shocks to see if the severed nerve would grow, and electric shocks to make sure I didn’t remember the electric shocks. And shocks to obliterate the memory of the sexual exploitation, the manipulation of my mind, and the banishment of my self to a place of hiding so profound it would take me fifty years to get her back….

Many children were experimented on in the 40s and 50s; they still are. Many children were used for child prostitution and pornography; they still are. Many children, and adults, too, had their minds experimented upon through electric shock and drugs and by the destruction of the bonds that make life possible. It is everywhere. Yet it is ultimately our healing that matters. Only in healing that which is invisible is there hope.

describes experiments
Gordon P. Erspamer, t r u t h o u t | Op-Ed 10/18/09 Despite the passage of four decades, America and its military have never come to grips with its own ghastly programs of using soldiers as guinea pigs to test chemical or biological weapons such as LSD, sarin, nerve gases, plague, mescaline, anthrax and hundreds of others. At the same time, they also conducted mind-control experiments, as soldiers and others were administered drugs, and septal implants were inserted in the sinus cavities a la “The Manchurian Candidate.” The secret research programs, originally code-named MKULTRA but continued under a long succession of other code names, were conducted mainly by the US Army from 1943 until at least 1975. However, the CIA provided planning, financial support and field testing. Participants in the experiments were recruited by the Army and lured by promises of no KP duty, a four-day workweek, the promise of medals and special recognition. At the same time, they were sworn to secrecy and forced to sign a general consent form without informed consent or even knowing the nature of the toxic substances that were sprayed in their faces, applied to their skin or injected into their veins. And the government continues to try to hide the fact that Nazi members were recruited to help devise these experiments as part of Operation Paperclip…. http://www.truthout.org/101809C
