Penn State: Lessons Not Learned

January 3, 2013

If it were possible to compound the reasons for outrage over the serial child rape committed at Penn State, Gov. Tom Corbett took a brazenly misguided step in that direction Wednesday. The governor filed a federal lawsuit to force the N.C.A.A. to revoke the highly deserved sanctions imposed on the school and its powerful football program for a scandal that reached the highest levels of the university.

Governor Corbett barely mentioned the young victims in complaining that the state’s economy, its citizens, students and, of course, the all-important Pennsylvania State University football fans were being unfairly penalized for the abuse and rape of children by Jerry Sandusky, the imprisoned former assistant coach who for years used the football program as a lure for his young victims….

In his foolhardy lawsuit, the governor bypassed incoming state attorney general Kathleen Kane to hire an outside law firm to pursue his case in the name of the state. Ms. Kane declined to comment, but in her election campaign last year she promised to look into why it took so long for the pedophilia scandal to be investigated when Mr. Corbett previously served as attorney general.

In his complaints, the governor only confirmed the inquiry finding that the university’s obsession with football predominance helped drive the cover-up of Mr. Sandusky’s crimes. Mr. Corbett extolled football’s “economic engine” and bemoaned the “diminution in value of the Penn State educational and community experience” because it relied, he emphasized, “in part on the prominence of the Penn State football program.”

Kim Noble is a woman who, from the age of 14 years, spent 20 years in and out of hospital until she made contact with Dr Valerie Sinason and Dr Rob Hale at the Tavistock and Portman Clinics.  In 1995 she began therapy and was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder (originally named multiple personality disorder). D.I.D is a creative way to cope with unbearable pain. The main personality splits into several parts with dissociative or amnesic barriers between them. It used to be a controversial disorder but Kim has had extensive tests over 2 years by leading psychology professor at UCL, John Morton, who has established there is no memory between the personalities.  http://www.kimnoble.com/

Prosecutor: Pediatric dentist facing child porn possession charges

By Laura Ly and Rande Iaboni, CNN
Thu December 27, 2012

(CNN) — A pediatric dentist charged with possession and distribution of child pornography can still treat children at his Framingham, Massachusetts, dental office under a judge’s ruling, according to a news release from the Middlesex district attorney’s office.

Melvin A. Ehrlich, 52, was arraigned Thursday in Framingham District Court on three counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of distribution of child pornography, according to the release.

Ehrlich, who was arrested Wednesday, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, according to Stephanie Chelf Guyotte, spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.

“While the case remains under development and investigation, there is currently no evidence that presently leads law enforcement to believe that Ehrlich physically abused any children or manufactured any images of child pornography,” the news release said….

Authorities immediately launched an investigation that they say revealed Ehrlich had used the laptop “under various user names to download and distribute commercially traded child pornography images,” the release said….

Victims of child pornography seek restitution from men who downloaded and traded horrific images
By Jenifer B. McKim Globe Staff December 27, 2012
The woman, now in her twenties, lives in relative anonymity on the West Coast, but to child pornography collectors worldwide she will always be known as “Vicky,” a little girl raped by her father in a series of videos illegally disseminated online thousands of times during more than a decade.

Now the woman and a small but growing number of other child pornography victims are seeking restitution from those who collected or traded pictures and videos depicting their abuse, filing claims for damages against convicted child pornographers in Massachusetts and around the country. In court papers, victims describe living with the knowledge that their images can never be cleansed from the Internet.

“Many people somewhere are watching the most terrifying moments of my life and taking grotesque pleasure in them,” the woman said in court statement provided by her Seattle attorney, Carol Hepburn. “They are being entertained by my shame and pain.”

Since 2008, six federal child pornography cases in Massachusetts have resulted in defendants being ordered to pay restitution, according to the US attorney’s office in Boston.

The amounts range between $2,000 and $2.5 million, and more than a dozen local cases are pending as courts across the country grapple with questions about whether victims deserve restitution and, if so, how much.

The recent restitution efforts come as the scourge of child pornography has accelerated during the last decade, aided by improved technology and the Web’s promise of anonymity.

While most sexually exploited children go unidentified, nearly 5,000 nationwide have been located during the last 10 years by law enforcement officials and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

The Virginia nonprofit manages a database to aid prosecutors and help identify exploited children….

Dissociative Identity States. Reinders AATS, Willemsen ATM, Vos HPJ, den Boer JA, Nijenhuis ERS (2012) PLoS ONE 7(6): e39279. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.003927

Methodology/Principal Findings

DID patients, high fantasy prone and low fantasy prone controls were studied in two different types of identity states (neutral and trauma-related) in an autobiographical memory script-driven (neutral or trauma-related) imagery paradigm. The controls were instructed to enact the two DID identity states. Twenty-nine subjects participated in the study: 11 patients with DID, 10 high fantasy prone DID simulating controls, and 8 low fantasy prone DID simulating controls. Autonomic and subjective reactions were obtained. Differences in psychophysiological and neural activation patterns were found between the DID patients and both high and low fantasy prone controls. That is, the identity states in DID were not convincingly enacted by DID simulating controls. Thus, important differences regarding regional cerebral bloodflow and psychophysiological responses for different types of identity states in patients with DID were upheld after controlling for DID simulation.

Conclusions/Significance

The findings are at odds with the idea that differences among different types of dissociative identity states in DID can be explained by high fantasy proneness, motivated role-enactment, and suggestion. They indicate that DID does not have a sociocultural (e.g., iatrogenic) origin

Psychobiological characteristics of dissociative identity disorder: a symptom provocation study. Reinders AA, Nijenhuis ER, Quak J, Korf J, Haaksma J, Paans AM, Willemsen AT, den Boer JA. Biol Psychiatry. 2006 Oct 1;60(7):730-40.

Abstract
BACKGROUND:
Dissociative identity disorder (DID) patients function as two or more identities or dissociative identity states (DIS), categorized as ‘neutral identity states’ (NIS) and ‘traumatic identity states’ (TIS). NIS inhibit access to traumatic memories thereby enabling daily life functioning. TIS have access and responses to these memories. We tested whether these DIS show different psychobiological reactions to trauma-related memory.

METHODS:
A symptom provocation paradigm with 11 DID patients was used in a two-by-two factorial design setting. Both NIS and TIS were exposed to a neutral and a trauma-related memory script. Three psychobiological parameters were tested: subjective ratings (emotional and sensori-motor), cardiovascular responses (heart rate, blood pressure, heart rate variability) and regional cerebral blood flow as determined with H(2)(15)O positron emission tomography.

RESULTS:
Psychobiological differences were found for the different DIS. Subjective and cardiovascular reactions revealed significant main and interactions effects. Regional cerebral blood flow data revealed different neural networks to be associated with different processing of the neutral and trauma-related memory script by NIS and TIS.

CONCLUSIONS:
Patients with DID encompass at least two different DIS. These identities involve different subjective reactions, cardiovascular responses and cerebral activation patterns to a trauma-related memory script.

ABSTRACT:  Having a sense of self is an explicit and high-level functional specialization of the human brain. The anatomical localization of self-awareness and the brain mechanisms involved in consciousness were investigated by functional neuroimaging different emotional mental states of core consciousness in patients with Multiple Personality Disorder (i.e., Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)). We demonstrate specific changes in localized brain activity consistent with their ability to generate at least two distinct mental states of self-awareness, each with its own access to autobiographical trauma-related memory. Our findings reveal the existence of different regional cerebral blood flow patterns for different senses of self. We present evidence for the medial prefrontal cortex (MPFC) and the posterior associative cortices to have an integral role in conscious experience.

Paedophiles behind a face of respectability
By Tracey Spicer The Daily Telegraph September 21, 2009
A PAEDOPHILE lives in Sydney’s East Ryde. He doesn’t have a facial tic or a stutter. He doesn’t look like the sex offender from central casting. And his name is not Dennis Ferguson.

He is one of tens of thousands of paedophiles, living in the suburbs, who don’t walk around with big signs on their foreheads.

In about 90 per cent of child sex abuse cases, the perpetrator is a family member or friend, not some rock spider who abducts kids in the street.

“Offenders look like everybody else,” Carol Ronken from Bravehearts, a support group for child sex victims, said….

REMINDER
Another great webinar coming up!

Saturday, November 17
12:00 noon Pacific Time
Presenter: Judy Byington, MSW, LCSW, ret.
“Trauma Treatment”

Judy Byington, MSW, LCSW, ret presents a historical perspective on the growth of the Dissociate Identity Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress diagnoses, showing underlying causes using her twenty year research with over fifty ritually abused victims while writing the biography “Twenty-Two Faces: Inside the Extraordinary Life of Jenny Hill and Her Twenty-Two Multiple Personalities.”

Byington tracks the ever-present phenomenon of denial as to recognition of dissociation; explains birth of alter personalities within a traumatized child’s developing brain in order to cope with ongoing trauma; shows how alternative thinking patterns function to protect the core personality and encourages survivors and practitioners to re-evaluate their treatment modalities to better confront, cope and heal from trauma so as to lead more productive lives.

Judy Byington, MSW, LCSW, ret, has dedicated her life to humanizing and raising public awareness about the little-known effects of ritual abuse and mind-control programming that tragically cause formation of multiple personalities in children. The CEO of the Trauma Research Center; retired therapist; Supervisor, Alberta Canada Mental Health and Director, Provo Utah Family Counseling Center is Author of the newly-released biography, Twenty-Two Faces: Inside the Extraordinary Life of Jenny Hill and Her Twenty-Two Multiple Personalities (Tate Publishing: Oklahoma).

Garry Glitter – Savile probe, 22 Personalities: A Ritual Abuse Survival Story

Former UK pop star Gary Glitter held in Savile probe
Alessandra Rizzo  October 28, 2012

LONDON (Reuters) – British police arrested convicted sex offender and former pop star Gary Glitter on Sunday as part of an investigation into allegations of child sex abuse by the late BBC presenter Jimmy Savile, media said.

Glitter was released on bail some 10 hours later. But the arrest – the first to be reported in the case – widened a scandal that has already damaged the reputation of the publicly-funded BBC and the legacy of Savile, a former DJ who was one of the broadcaster’s top show hosts and a prolific charity fundraiser….

Glitter was held by police for about 10 hours. He was seen leaving a police station in central London and, minutes later, return to his apartment, where he dodged questions by scores of waiting reporters and cameramen.

Police later said the man was “bailed to return to the police station in mid-December 2012, pending further inquiries”….

Glitter served two months was jail in Britain in 1999 for possession of child pornography. He then moved to Cambodia, but was deported in 2002 due to suspected sex offences.

In 2006, a Vietnamese court convicted him of committing obscene acts with two girls aged 10 and 11 and sentenced him to four years in jail. On his release he returned to Britain.

Allegations that Savile sexually abused young girls for decades first emerged in an expose on the British TV channel ITV. Since then, police say some 300 victims had come forward.

Victims’ allegations broadcast by ITV include claims from one woman that she had seen Glitter having sex with an underage girl in Savile’s BBC dressing room while Savile abused another girl. Glitter has denied the claim, according to the BBC….http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/sns-rt-us-britain-savilebre89q06g-20121027,0,7295122.story

22 Personalities: A Ritual Abuse Survival Story

10/26/12 Kimberly Nelson

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – It’s something out of a nightmare – satanic rituals and human sacrifices, but this nightmare is real for Jenny Hill….

Jenny’s story of satanic ritual abuse is documented in Judy Byington’s new book “Twenty Two Faces.”

Byington explained, “She had been sexually abused and ritually abused as a very young child so she had these multiple personalities that anytime she got into a stressful situation they would take over her mind and body.”

Jenny’s first alter personality was born at the age of 4. That’s when jenny says her father, a devout Mormon, began doing the unthinkable.

Hill said, “He told me he loved me over my mother. There’s your secret.”

It was just a couple of years later when the satanic ritual abuse began and that created more personalities to help her deal with the sexual abuse and torture.

Byington explained, “It’s like she knows she’s being abused but she can’t feel the abuse because these alters are holding the pain.”

Jenny didn’t remember the abuse; all she knew is that she would lose time until one day she woke up in a Utah psychiatric hospital confused. http://www.abc4.com/content/news/slc/story/22-Personalities-A-Ritual-Abuse-Survival-Story/t1p2neiN0k2LEdutF2O1Bg.cspx

Twenty-Two Faces – Inside the Extraordinary Life of Jenny Hill and Her Twenty-Two Multiple Personalities Judy Byington MSW, LCSW, ret.

Twenty-Two Faces documents how the only known survivor-intended-victim of a modern-day human sacrifice ceremony six year-old Jenny Hill, overcomes multiplicity resulting from brainwashing, her perpetrators having subjected the child to insidious mind-control techniques culled from Nazi Germany. As is the case for thousands of children across the globe unfortunate enough to be born into families still practicing these aberrant religious rites. Using a lone resource: faith in God, Jenny tries to make sense of a life where she jumps from one day to the next. Eventually with help of a psychologist: she takes charge of her divided mind by facing alter personalities and their traumatic repressed memories, overcomes family-society rejection, confronts and forgives abusers, showing an ability of the human spirit to overcome against all odds, profound emotional shock and miraculously healing from severe childhood trauma. A Brief History of Trauma as it Relates to Multiple Personalities and Ritual Abuse Judy Byington, MSW, LCSW, ret.

Multiple Personalities generally result from child abuse, where Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is more commonly found in adults who have undergone extreme stress. The underlying problem in both adults and children subjected to prolonged trauma is Dissociation, a disconnect from life events that ranges from excessive daydreaming to Post Traumatic Stress to Multiple Personalities.
Mind-control is a process of subjecting one to torture on a prolonged basis so as to develop nervous disorders, the most common in children being multiple personalities – a  system of brainwashing that was developed by Adolf Hitler during World War II.

Hill states that on June 21, 1965 she was taken to a “Black Temple” rite in Garden Grove, California where the six year-old was strapped to an alter, tortured and forced to watch the murder of another six year-old….

Twenty-Two Faces author Judy Byington, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., ret., secured an exclusive interview with Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints General Authority Elder Glen Pace. In 1990 Pace sent a memo to President Ezra Taft Benson summarizing a church committee’s year of interviews with what was to be over a hundred ritual abuse survivors in the U.S. and Mexico, exposing, “45 members witnessed human sacrifice.”

These shocking disclosures were further verified by the Utah Governor’s Task Force on Ritual Abuse co-chaired by Noemi Mattis, J.D., Ph.D. During the same time as the LDS report, community leaders surveyed therapists and legal entities throughout the state. These two evaluations resulted in hiring of Satanic Ritual Abuse Investigators at the Utah Attorney General’s office headed by Lieutenant Mike King. How to fight child abuse by R. A. Dickey, Twenty-Two Faces – Inside the Extraordinary Life of Jenny Hill and Her Twenty-Two Multiple Personalities Judy Byington

Column: How to fight child abuse By R.A. Dickey and Grier Weeks

If there is one image from the Penn State scandal that should haunt our American memory, it’s not Joe Paterno’s fall, Jerry Sandusky’s grinning face or the specter of what former assistant football coach Mike McQueary saw.

….For centuries, adults who preyed on children hid in the shadows. For every sexual predator witnessed in the act by an outsider such as McQueary, there were thousands who walked among us unsuspected and untouched.

Then the advent of the Internet dramatically changed this. Individuals with a sexual attraction to children began surfacing en masse, as they went online to do what millions of their fellow Americans were doing: accessing sexual content. But the content these individuals accessed — video and photos of children being raped, tortured and sexually displayed (child pornography) — was illegal.

By 2006, congressional hearings revealed hundreds of thousands of these criminals in the U.S. alone. Law enforcement officers at the helm of a national online nerve center told Congress that they identified 300,000 suspects in 2008. Each day, thousands of suspects were being logged and plotted on maps. More alarming, an estimated one in three was a hands-on offender, with local child victims.

Yet, the vast majority were not being investigated at all because of the lack of law enforcement funding. Children who could be rescued were instead ignored. The heroes on the front lines of this battle went home every night with the screams of children in their heads, knowing they simply didn’t have the manpower to go get them.

….The 2006 Barton hearings led to a bipartisan bill, the Protect Our Children Act of 2008, sponsored by then Democratic Sens. Joe Biden, D-Del., and Barack Obama, D-Ill., as well as Republicans John McCain, R-Ariz., and Orrin Hatch, R-Utah. Oprah Winfrey endorsed the legislation in a one-hour show, launching more than 500,000 angry viewers at the Senate and helping ensure passage.

The act authorized major increases in spending for combating child sexual exploitation and child rescue. For a few years, progress was dramatic. By 2010, law enforcement agencies were reporting they had identified and rescued 2,182 children in a single year, though the actual number was likely 10 times higher.

….This year, the Obama administration asked Congress to cut Protect Act spending by 27%. The House and Senate have proposed spending at below 2010 levels.

….There’s no greater feeling, on or off the field, than protecting a child. Please join us in demanding that Congress and the Obama administration properly fund a war against those who prey on our children.

The 2012 EMDRIA Conference “EMDR & Attachment: Healing Developmental Trauma” October 4th – 7th in Washington, D.C., at the Crystal Gateway Marriott.

Session 434 – Treating Dissociation, Ritual Abuse and Mind Control from an Attachment Perspective  Carolyn Settle, MSW, LCSW; Soozi Bolte, LPC, LISAC

Using EMDR as an integrative therapeutic approach from an attachment and developmental trauma lens, this presentation will give practical strategies for treating clients with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) symptoms who have experienced Ritual Abuse and Mind Control (RA/MC).  Infant disorganized attachment is an important precursor to adult dissociation and perhaps even more of a predictor of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) than severe trauma alone (van der Kolk). RA/MC programming will be explained so the clinician understands the layers of complexity in treating these dissociative symptoms and ego states. http://www.emdriaconference.com/

Dissociative Identity Disorder: The Mystery Surrounding its Etiology and its Connection to Satanic Ritual Abuse, Repressed memory in child molestation lawsuit

Dissociative Identity Disorder: The Mystery Surrounding its Etiology and its Connection to Satanic Ritual Abuse

A Research Paper Presented to The Faculty of the Adler Graduate School In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for The Degree of Master of Arts in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy….

The purpose of this project is to inform its readers of the often overlooked and sometimes avoided diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder along with its possible connections to extreme abuse such as satanic ritual abuse as well as intentional mind control….

It has also been argued that dissociative identity disorder is a “chronic, posttraumatic dissociative disorder characterized by recurrent disturbances of identity and memory” (Kluft, 1988, p. 212). Dissociative identity disorder is a complex disorder that generally finds its roots in an individual?s childhood. “The severe, sustained, and repetitive trauma that occurs during the early to middle stages of childhood (ages 2 and a half to 8) for most victims is thought to promote the development of Multiple Personality Disorder” now known as dissociative identity disorder (Wilbur, 1984, p. 5)….

The Connection of Dissociative Identity Disorder and Satanic Ritual Abuse

There is a rising belief among therapists working with those diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder that there has been a missing piece to the puzzle to better understand and work with these clients. That missing clue being that a high percentage rate of individuals diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder are also victims of satanic ritual abuse….

Over the past few decades the field of psychology has improved its effectiveness in society as it has willingly accepted the awful truths that research was revealing regarding issues of abuse. For example, in the 1960′s there was rampant denial that any form of child abuse even existed. There seemed to be a belief that maybe “one in one hundred children were abused” (Friesen, 1991, p. 206). In the 1970′s incest finally came into focus of a possibility of being more widespread than previously thought and in the 1980?s victims of abuse and incest were finally beginning to be believed as telling the truth. As a result of these individuals finally being believed diagnoses such as multiple personality disorder, now known as dissociative identity disorder, began to rise (Friesen, 1991)….

As the field of psychology and more importantly society embraced the ugly truth of rampant child abuse and the reality of wide spread incest America improved. America improved in its ability to rescue, protect, and bring some restoration to these abused individuals by lifting the widespread cloak of shame surrounding abuse. As society and the field of psychology slowly embrace and believe what individuals diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder are sharing as truth then the cloak of shame for them can be lifted as well….

One of the mainstays of working with individuals with dissociative identity disorder is to aid the client in breaking down the amnesiac, dissociative walls which have been constructed as a means of self-protection. One way to help break down these walls is to aid the individual in remembering the abuse he/she endured. As these walls begin to weaken more and more memories of trauma begin to rise. According to the research conducted by Bryant (1995) these memories are not delusions, hallucinations, or made up fantasy, in fact as research is revealing they are indeed memories of actual events that have taken place….

Extreme Abuse Survey….
The results were overwhelming in revealing a connection of satanic ritualistic abuse to the diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder as well as opening shedding light into other ritualistic forms of abuse such as mind control used through the occult rituals as well as government-sponsored mind control experiments. This research reveals the two are very often connected with one another. For example this data shows that “64% of 985 respondents reported memories of incest and 48% of 977 respondents reported memoires of ritual abuse before they sought therapy and 69% of 257 respondents who reported secret mind control experiments used on them as children also reported having been abused in a satanic cult” (Rutz et al., 2008, p. 50). http://www.alfredadler.edu/sites/default/files/Vogelsang%20MP%202010.pdf

Psychiatrist testifies on repressed memory in child molestation lawsuit

By Lee Hammel TELEGRAM & GAZETTE STAFF

WORCESTER —  A defense expert testified today in U.S. District Court that “there is no satisfactory scientific evidence that you could lock up a memory of a major traumatic event” and not remember it again.

Harrison G. Pope, a clinical psychiatrist and professor at Harvard Medical School, testified for Richard B. Edison, a plastic surgeon who is being sued by Timothy Clark. The Charlton resident alleges that the doctor sexually abused him for several years, beginning in 1974, when the doctor was a student at University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Mr. Clark was a 10 year old in Shrewsbury.

Mr. Clark returned to the witness stand today to say that he had no memory of his sexual abuse in the 70s until he visited his mother’s grave in 2008. If so, that would reset the 3-year statute of limitations, allowing him to pursue the allegations against the doctor.

Stephen J. Gordon, Mr. Clark’s lawyer, got Dr. Pope to acknowledge that  he made “possibly more than $100,000” by testifying or consulting on repressed memory cases last year, more than he got for working half-time at Harvard. Dr. Pope said he testified or consulted for the Roman Catholic Diocese in Indiana on about 10 cases and two other cases for the Diocese in Minnesota.

James Hopper, an expert for the plaintiff, gave more subtle testimony. The Harvard Medical School psychologist testified that an abuse victim can forget a traumatic event, deliberately or otherwise, and then be unable to recover it until there is a “password” such as a similar event or someone questioning the victim about the event.

Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV said that after additional testimony, he expects the case to be given to the jury of 5 women and 3 men on  Monday.

Deal ends trial of surgeon By Lee Hammel TELEGRAM & GAZETTE STAFF Tuesday, July 17, 2012

WORCESTER —  The civil trial in which a doctor was accused of molesting a 10-year-old boy in Shrewsbury when he was a medical student 38 years ago ended abruptly in its sixth day yesterday when the two sides announced in U.S. District Court that they had reached a settlement.

Lawyers for Dr. Richard B. Edison, 59, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Timothy Clark, 48, of Charlton, said they reached an agreement Sunday night. They informed Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV as a hearing was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. yesterday, the last scheduled day of testimony.

The settlement leaves unanswered how the jury would have voted on the allegations of years of sexual abuse, which were made by a man who said that he had repressed his memory of what happened to him over several years in the mid-1970s until he visited his mother’s grave the day before Mother’s Day in 2008.

Details of the settlement were not disclosed because of a confidentiality clause….

One of the eight jurors said he was more impressed with Mr. Clark’s allegations than with Dr. Edison’s defense. The juror, Pei Liang Zhang, said, “Personally, I believe that the defendant must realize he did something to the poor” plaintiff.

Mr. Zhang, an engineer living in Shrewsbury, said he found it “pretty obvious” why the plaintiff’s mother went court to get an order for Mr. Edison to stay away from her children. There was evidence that Mr. Edison was charged in 1977 with disturbing the peace in a complaint by Diane Clark, mother of Timothy Clark, in the state’s Central District Court….

The district attorney’s office is not looking into the allegations raised in the trial, according to spokesman Paul Jarvey. The office looked into those allegations around 2008, he said, and found insufficient information to proceed. http://www.telegram.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20120717/NEWS/107179925/
